  • 2024 Tree for All at Myriad Gardens

The Tree For All event, presented by Cox, is set to take place on Saturday, November 9, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the West Plaza, adjacent to the Children's Garden and Carousel. This annual event features an extensive selection of 800 trees, all available for adoption, in an effort to enhance the natural beauty of the region and promote environmental improvements through tree planting. The initiative seeks to diversify Oklahoma's green canopy, contributing to a sustainable and biodiverse landscape beneficial for the community.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in tree-related activities and explore educational booths throughout the event. The support from Cox as the presenting sponsor is acknowledged, reflecting their dedication to environmental causes and community involvement.

This year's tree selection includes various species at different price points. For $20, attendees can choose from options such as Bald Cypress, Desert Willow, Bur Oak, Loblolly Pine, and Redbud, among others. There are also larger selections priced at $25, including 5-gallon Pecan and 3-gallon Southern Magnolia.

Purchasing options include an in-person sale on the event day and online ordering via the Myriad Gardens website. A presale for members begins on October 30, followed by a general public presale on November 1. Those who pre-purchase trees are required to pick them up during the event hours. Trees will be available for collection outside the Children's Garden, with specific instructions to bring proof of purchase. Additionally, the first 100 visitors will receive a complimentary one-gallon Redbud tree on the day of the sale. Unclaimed trees by noon will not be held and will be donated to the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
