The Museum invites the public to celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy, a day dedicated to honoring the cowboy culture and pioneering spirit. Attendees can immerse themselves in cowboy-inspired activities, such as enjoying music from Oklahoma Opry, engaging in family-friendly crafts, experiencing a mechanical bull ride, and getting face paintings. They are encouraged to wear cowboy attire to enhance the celebratory atmosphere.
Adding to the festivities, Kent Rollins, a renowned cowboy humorist and cook, will host two presentations and a meet-and-greet session, offering insights into cowboy cuisine and stories from the trails. His presentations will cover the evolution of Chuck Wagon Cooking and Food on the Trail, with a special opportunity for attendees to meet Rollins personally. This event welcomes members and non-members alike, promising engaging activities and memorable experiences for all who partake.
