April and May Fridays: Music In The Park in Elgin
Veterans Memorial Park invites the community to enjoy 'Music in the Park' every Friday in April and May, starting at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to revel in live music performances that span genres from country and rock to blues and more, under the enchanting starlit sky. The event, enriched with food trucks, lawn games by Elgin Parks & Recreation, promises a wholesome outing for families and friends. In case of rain, the event will move to the VFW, ensuring the entertainment continues.
The series boasts a diverse lineup including bands like Hard Luck Revival, The Shop Dawgz Band, and Huerta Culture, highlighting a mix of country, rock, blues, and international influences.
