Donut Dash 5K in Round Rock
The 6th Annual Round Rock Donut Dash 5K is scheduled for May 11th, 2024, starting at Prete Plaza at 7:00 AM, with no late starts past 7:05 AM. Participants are encouraged to warm up from 6:45 AM at the starting line. This event offers an enticing challenge for enthusiasts to enjoy a unique race that includes a mid-point donut stop from a beloved local shop. The race concludes with a celebratory post-race after-party at Water Tower Park in Downtown Round Rock, featuring music, themed food, yard games, and drinks.
Participants can register for the Challenger Division to attempt completing half a 5K, consume a dozen donuts, and finish the remainder within one hour, or opt for the Casual Division or ZERO K Division based on their preference. Registered participants will receive special donut-themed swag and donuts, with an additional Finisher award for Challenger participants who meet the challenge. Early registration is advised, closing on May 8th, with packet pick-up options available before the race day.
