  • Summer Classical Music Series at Mockingbird Station - Saturdays in June

WRR101 proudly announces the launch of its Summer Classical Music Series, a partnership with Mockingbird Station, University Crossing, and OpenClassical DFW. This series brings live chamber music to the community, featuring DFW's foremost classical musicians. Every Saturday evening in June 2024, from 7-8 p.m., the public is invited to enjoy these free performances. Highlights include performances by the Dynamic Duo – Dina Nesterenko and Mark Landson on June 1, and a variety of ensembles throughout the month, concluding with 'A Little Night Music' on June 29.

Hosted at the outdoor amphitheater on Level 2 of Mockingbird Station, this event promises a culturally enriching experience for the whole family. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics, families, and even pets, to enjoy an evening of exquisite music under the stars. This series not only showcases classical talent but also creates a community gathering space that celebrates the arts in a relaxed, accessible manner.
