    • 2024 Down Syndrome Festival & 5K at Myriad Gardens

    On September 28, 2024, the Myriad Botanical Gardens will host a community event featuring a variety of activities, including an awareness walk, a 1-mile fun run, and a 5k race. The event includes entertainment such as a DJ, games, inflatables, and therapy dogs, providing fun for participants of all ages. More than 50 resource vendors will also be present to share valuable information with families.

    The 5k will kick off at 8:20 a.m., followed by the awareness walk at 10 a.m. and festival activities beginning shortly thereafter. Parking will be complimentary, and volunteers aged 14 and older are encouraged to assist with setup, runner check-in, and post-event cleanup, contributing to the success of this community gathering.
