On a welcoming morning at Best of Books, attendees can immerse themselves in a world of fairytales created by local authors. The event features local author Andrea Clark, who will read her picture book, 'Welcome Home, Indigo Owl,' at 11 a.m. This enchanting story introduces children to a quirky forest community and its charming characters, including a friendly fairy named Elory. Following the reading, young participants will have the opportunity to craft their own fairy doors.
At 12:30 p.m., Paul Wayne White, a debut author from Edmond, will launch his middle-grade fantasy book, 'Starlight and the Elf Stone.' Inspired by his family and local scenes recognizable to Northern Hills students, attendees can support local authors by purchasing and getting their books signed.
