    • 2024 Touch a Truck Event in Norman

    Touch a Truck 2024 will be held on September 28 at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Norman, featuring hands-on experiences with various vehicles. This family-oriented event has promoted play-based learning for nearly two decades, allowing children to engage closely with cranes, fire trucks, helicopters, and more. A quiet hour will be available from 9 to 10 am for those who may prefer a calmer environment.

    Hosted by the Pioneer Library System and the Pioneer Library System Foundation, the event supports children's literacy and STEAM programs across six Cleveland County branches. Last year, approximately 2,500 attendees enjoyed the festivities, which include a Mobile Maker Space where families can explore programming resources.
