2024 Walk For Adoption at Scissortail Park
On April 6th, Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City will host a special event celebrating adoption and supporting Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoption (DPA). Participants can begin the day at 9:00 AM with check-in and enjoy complimentary breakfast tacos courtesy of Rudy's BBQ. The event officially kicks off at 9:30 AM with an opening ceremony, followed by a symbolic walk. This walk includes four laps around Scissortail Park, featuring signs along the route that showcase stories of families impacted by adoption.
Attendees are encouraged to register and create personal fundraising pages to help generate additional contributions for DPA. The event promises enticing incentives for top fundraisers, such as a hoverboard, family tickets to the OKC Zoo, and OKC RiverSport passes.
