Myriad Botanical Gardens Full Moon Bike Ride
Biking enthusiasts are invited to gather at the Seasonal Plaza for a series of Full Moon Rides, led by Steve Schlegel of Schlegel Inspections. Each event promises a unique 6-to 8-mile route, unveiled on the night. Riders are asked to come prepared with lights and helmets for safety. With a modest suggested donation of $5, participants support the continuation of this community-centric activity. Additionally, t-shirts and water bottles are available for purchase, enhancing the experience.
For those without a bicycle, rental options are provided through Spokies or RideOKC, with a special coupon code 'FM0621' offering the first 60 minutes free. The rides are scheduled from June through October, with departure times tailored to sunset hours, ensuring a leisurely and scenic experience under the full moon. This event not only promotes healthy living and cycling but also fosters a sense of community amongst participants.
