  • National Cowboy Museum Annual Chuck Wagon Festival

The Memorial Day Weekend event is a family favorite, featuring Chuck Wagon and Native American food samples from various locations including Big Pasture, OK, and Texarkana, AR. Alongside tasting sessions, visitors can enjoy live music performances curated by Oklahoma Opry and engage in family-friendly activities. The opportunity to explore the museum's indoor and outdoor exhibits adds an educational twist to the weekend's festivities.

The event boasts a lineup of musical and storytelling acts over two days, with artists like Kyle Dillingham and Wyatt Zane taking the stage, complemented by Western tales from Al Bostick. Emceed by Cowboy Jim Garling, the entertainment spans traditional folk narratives to lively medicine shows. Though the schedule may change, the essence of blending cultural heritage with entertainment remains to create a memorial experience.
