Mack Taylor Park is located at 9707 N. Peoria Ave in Sperry, Oklahoma, and is accessible daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This small triangular park spans 15 acres and is defined by 98th Street to the north, Peoria Avenue to the east, and the curve of Highway 11 to the west and south. The park is shaded by numerous pecan trees, providing a comfortable outdoor space for visitors.
One of the park's standout features is its status as the only 9-hole left-handed disc golf course in Tulsa County, making it a unique destination for disc golf enthusiasts. Additionally, Mack Taylor Park holds historical significance due to a marker commemorating the Battle of Chusto-Talasah, which was fought nearby during the Civil War. This marker, sponsored by the Tulsa County Historical Society and the Oklahoma Historical Society, details how Opothleyahola's Union Indians forced the retreat of Confederate troops on December 9, 1861.
The park offers various amenities for visitors, including disc golf, a gazebo, green spaces, picnic tables with grills, a playground, and restroom facilities.
