  • Tulsa City-County Central Library

The Central Library, situated at Fifth and Denver in downtown Tulsa, stands as a pivotal support hub for the Tulsa City-County Library system, which comprises 25 branches. This central location plays a crucial role in enhancing community access to various resources and services facilitated by the library network.

Within its expansive facility, the Central Library boasts 16 versatile meeting spaces designed to accommodate different needs. The Aaronson Auditorium can host up to 200 people, while the Children's Storytime Meeting Room seats 52. Additional spaces include a Computer Lab for 31 users, eight small study rooms, four large group study rooms that each accommodate 10, and the Future Lab, which can accommodate 127 individuals. These resources can be reserved for community events and meetings.

In addition to meeting spaces, the Central Library is equipped with a Maker Space featuring a 3-D printing station and a recording studio, providing innovative resources for creative projects. The library's children's area offers play stations and accessible book bins, fostering early literacy. Other amenities include a Digital Literacy Lab, Learning and Creativity Center, and a Children's Garden, all aimed at enhancing learning and engagement for library visitors.

For users in need of technology, the library provides laptops for in-library use, available through a checkout dispenser on the first floor. Users can select from 12 PCs and 12 MacBooks equipped with essential software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools. These laptops can be borrowed for a duration of two hours.

Parking is made convenient for library patrons, with a 143-space garage available. The initial two hours of parking are free, as well as the duration of library programs or classes, allowing visitors to freely explore the library's offerings without the worry of parking fees.
