The Junior League of Austin is set to host its 49th annual A Christmas Affair, which marks a cherished tradition in Austin that has ushered in the holiday season for nearly fifty years. This year's event is slated to feature a four-day market that will showcase over 200 small- and mid-sized businesses from various parts of the United States. In addition to the market, the Junior League will organize themed parties and activities designed for children, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the occasion.
Children's events will take place from November 15 to 17 at the Community Impact Center, with timings that vary throughout those days. Themed parties will be held from November 20 to 24 at the Palmer Event Center, also during varying times. The much-anticipated market days are scheduled for November 21 to 24 at the same location, with specific hours for each day outlined for attendees.
Proceeds from the market and associated events will support the Junior League's notable impact programs, including Kids In Cool Shoes, Coats for Kids, and Food In Tummies, along with benefiting over 20 nonprofit partners. The event promises to create a festive environment while supporting meaningful community initiatives.
