    The 18th Annual Bat Fest in Austin, Texas, honors the Mexican Free-Tail Bats that roost beneath the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. This event showcases the largest urban bat colony, with around 2 million bats emerging nightly during spring and summer, drawing visitors from all over. Hosted by Roadway Productions, Bat Fest includes live music, a kids' zone, and numerous food and drink vendors. With around 25 arts and crafts booths, attendees can enjoy family-friendly activities while witnessing an exceptional display of Austin's unique wildlife.

    The music schedule features various performers, from local acts to well-known groups, ensuring diverse entertainment. Food options range from empanadas and pretzels to a variety of classic festival fare. Bat Fest combines culture and nature, making it a valued tradition in the Austin community.
