2024 Bob Bullock Birthday Bash
Families are invited to celebrate the legacy of Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock at the museum dedicated to his vision, showcasing the rich tapestry of Texas history across three floors of exhibitions. The event, designed to pay homage to Bullock's contribution to the state, features an array of activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including live music, crafts, and games that embody the spirit of Texas. A highlight is the live concert by Mr. Will at 10:30 a.m., encouraging children to dance and sing to tunes with a local twist.
Further enriching the day's festivities, storytime sessions at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. will narrate Bob Bullock's favorite children's book, 'The Little Red Hen,' courtesy of the Austin Public Library. Attendees can also look forward to hands-on activities like balloon twisting and party hat decorating. Adding a sweet note to the celebration, visitors can enjoy a complimentary cup of vanilla ice cream, Bullock's preferred treat, at The Star Cafe, capturing the essence of communal joy and cultural appreciation.
