2024 Classic Game Fest
Classic Game Fest 2024 sets the stage as Texas' largest retro video game convention and stands among the top in the United States. Slated for July 19-21, 2024, at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas, the event promises an expansive showcase with over 15,000 attendees, more than 150 vendors and special guests, and a vast area exceeding 100,000 square feet dedicated to retro gaming. Enthusiasts will be treated to a comprehensive program featuring retro game tournaments, costume contests, live music, repairs, a game buyback station, and extensive freeplay options across arcades, pinballs, and consoles, alongside opportunities to buy and sell vintage games and gear.
CGF2024 ensures an immersive experience for avid gamers and fans of classic video gaming culture. Attendees can look forward to engaging panels and special guest appearances, amidst exploring a huge vendor hall stocked with retro games, consoles, and related merchandise. To facilitate a smooth experience, early wristband pickup is recommended at any Texas Game Over Videogames location from May 1 through July 18, to avoid long lines.
