Jessie Kennedy Steinberg, an imaginative realism oil painter based in Kyle, TX, is a self-taught artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Texas Wesleyan University. She has experience as a muralist and scenic painter, having taught fine art in Los Angeles and Knoxville, where she established her own atelier. Jessie gained recognition as an award-winning sidewalk chalk artist during Knoxville's Dogwood Arts Festival and was a member of Bent Tree Gallery until its closure in 2022.
After facing a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, Jesse's focus shifted to artistic narratives and figuration. Her evocative oil paintings convey a longing for refuge and tranquility, aimed at transporting viewers to serene dreamscapes that provide solace amidst life's challenges.
