  • Austin Scottish Rite Theater Presents: Bunnicula

Bunnicula tells the story of the Monroe family, who adopt a peculiar rabbit found at a movie theater. The rabbit, named Bunnicula, has mysterious traits such as fangs and a cape-like pattern, leading the family cat, Chester, to suspect that he is a vampire draining vegetables of their color. Chester's increasingly bizarre attempts to prove Bunnicula's vampire nature cause chaos, while the family dog, Harold, grows protective of the rabbit. Eventually, the family notices Bunnicula's declining health and takes both pets to the vet, with Chester receiving therapy and Bunnicula thriving on a diet of vegetable juice. Unaware of the rabbit's strange habits, the Monroes attribute the white vegetables to a supermarket issue and continue their lives none the wiser.
