Cloudy with a Chance of Ale at NCHM
Beerthoven will host an intimate concert featuring the Amorsima Trio, which includes violin, viola, and cello. The program is inspired by the Persian poet Rumi and includes works such as Jessica Meyers' 'I Only Speak of the Sun,' Jeffrey Mumford's 'in soft echoes...a world awaits,' and Kaija Saariaho's 'Cloud Trio.' Sponsors will provide warm pastries, cold beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages at no additional cost.
Set in the historic Neill-Cochran House, the concert creates a refined yet approachable atmosphere. Children and students can purchase affordable tickets. The Amorsima Trio, founded in 2016, is known for pushing the boundaries of the string trio repertoire, actively commissioning new works and collaborating with innovative composers.
