The gathering is free and accessible to the general public, aiming to enrich community ties. Additionally, Austin Resource Recovery is contributing to the event with the inclusion of a truck. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about composting through shared information and can partake in a sustainable craft activity. For those interested in composting at home, kitchen compost collectors will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
