The Neill-Cochran House Museum proudly presents the Hope for Spring Art on the Lawn, an outdoor art market showcasing the work of Hope for Spring artists, set to take place on April 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This free event offers visitors the opportunity to celebrate local art while exploring the significance of water through an exquisite selection of artworks displayed on the museum lawn. A portion of the sales proceeds will directly benefit the museum.
In conjunction with the art market, the museum hosts Sunday Funday: Found Objects, a creative outdoor activity for children. Guided by artist Lawrence Jolly and the NCHM staff, this session enables young visitors to engage in craft making with found objects. Both the art market and the craft activity offer a family-friendly environment, encouraging community participation at no cost. Museum admission, including access to the lawn events, is free, welcoming all to drop by and immerse themselves in the vibrant Austin art scene.
