Old Stagecoach Inn Reopening Celebration in Round Rock
The historic Stagecoach Inn, which has a heritage spanning 170 years, underwent relocation to Chisholm Crossing Park in 2018 to facilitate road safety improvements on RM 620. The restoration of the inn has been carried out through collaborative efforts between the City of Round Rock and the nonprofit organization Round Rock Preservation, with financial backing from both donations and city funds.
An event will be held to celebrate the completion of the inn's restoration. It will begin with a brief program at 10 a.m., followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and the unveiling of an engraved brick installation. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an open house to explore the rehabilitated interior of the Stagecoach Inn. Guests are advised to enter the park through its north entrance to access the festivities.
