The City of Round Rock is set to host its annual Independence Day celebration on July 4th, offering a day filled with free, patriotic events. The day kicks off with the Sertoma Independence Day Parade at 8:30 a.m. along Mays Street in Downtown Round Rock. The parade will showcase a variety of giant helium and cold air inflatables, along with community groups, ensuring a display of patriotic spirit along the 1.5-mile route between Mays Crossing and Highway 79.
Following the parade, festivities will move to Old Settlers Park, starting at noon. Here, attendees can enjoy carnival rides, live music, entertainment including Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, a Pepper Eating Contest, and the Sam Bass Shootout. Various vendors will be present, providing an array of food and goods. The celebration will culminate with a spectacular fireworks show at dark, marking a fitting end to a day of celebration and patriotic pride.
