    The AISD Performing Arts Center is hosting this season's Summer Theatre Series Musical, Shrek: The Musical. Designed as an educational and inclusive event, it invites students from 5th to 12th grade across the Austin Independent School District to immerse themselves in an enriching theatre experience at no cost.

    Shrek: The Musical brings the cherished animated movie to the stage, offering audiences a deeper look into the adventures of Shrek, an unlikely hero, and his companions. This rendition includes a talking Donkey, a determined princess, a villain on a short fuse, and a gang of fairy tale misfits, showcasing the importance of being true to oneself and the unexpected forms heroism can take.
