The Naturalist Workshop at the Austin Nature & Science Center offers a hands-on experience unlike any other natural history museum. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to physically engage with an array of natural collections including fur, rocks, bones, plants, insects, and more. Interactive tables and investigation tools enable guests to explore and learn from the items directly. The exhibit's rotating displays ensure that every visit is unique, inviting return trips to discover new collections.
Additionally, the center provides field guides and a sightings board to enhance the experience of encountering living organisms around the premises.
