2024 Art in the Arena Frisco
The Art in the Arena Frisco event marks its first appearance as an innovative indoor fine art festival in North Texas, held in the Comerica Center Sports Arena in Frisco, Texas. This unique venue, known for being the home of several sports teams including the NHL Dallas Stars, Frisco Fighters Football, and Texas Legends Basketball, transforms to accommodate up to 60 emerging and professional artists. Scheduled for August, it offers attendees a splendid mix of live music by Melody of Hope and the chance to meet artists firsthand, enhancing the art acquisition experience.
The event commences with a VIP Night on August 16, for those who donate $50 to VAGF, offering exclusive early access, food, a drink coupon, and a live music performance. August 17 and 18 invite the public to free admission and parking, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. Sponsored by the Dallas Stars and supported by a grant from the Frisco Arts Foundation, Art in the Arena Frisco not only showcases local talent but also welcomes artists from all regions, excluding craft art booths, to create a varied and engaging festival for everyone.
