  • 2024 Butterfly Flutterby - Dance Of The Monarch in Grapevine

    The Dance of the Monarch event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens located in Heritage Park. This year's event marks the 27th Annual Butterfly Flutterby, which focuses on celebrating the Monarch butterfly and its remarkable migration journey from Canada to Mexico, passing through Grapevine.

    Families and pets are welcome to join in on this free celebration, which features a variety of activities suitable for all ages. Attendees can participate in a costume contest, enjoy live butterfly releases, and engage in hands-on activities at the arts and crafts station. The event will also showcase a Grapevine Garden Club art contest and a science station, providing educational value alongside entertainment.

    In addition to these activities, participants can explore the Butterflies Around the World exhibit and view the Transition to Beauty Butterfly Sculpture. The event will offer various photo opportunities featuring butterflies, as well as butterfly-themed merchandise and snacks available for purchase.
