2024 Celebrate Prosper Festival
Celebrate Prosper is set to take place on October 5, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Frontier Park, located at 1551 Frontier Parkway. This annual community event invites residents to gather at the park near the Windmill Playground and large pavilion for an enjoyable afternoon with neighbors and local officials.
The event showcases a variety of attractions, including live entertainment, food options, refreshments, exhibits, and vendor booths. A Kid Zone will be available, providing activities for younger attendees. New residents of Prosper are encouraged to join the New Resident Mixer tent from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to meet Town staff, learn about local services, and receive a Prosper swag bag.
Musical performances will kick off at 4:00 p.m., culminating in a feature performance by headliner Josh Weathers at 6:30 p.m. Weathers, a Fort Worth-based soulful singer-songwriter, is known for his engaging live shows that blend rock and soul. His notable rise to fame was marked by a viral video of him singing 'I Will Always Love You,' which has broadened his audience considerably. In addition to his musical career, he is committed to philanthropic efforts through the nonprofit organization he founded with his wife after their transformative trip to India. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for comfortable seating on the lawn during the performance.
