Grape Jam 2024 is set to take place on October 25th and 26th in Grapevine, Texas, featuring a variety of bluegrass performances and interactive musical experiences. This free two-day festival will occur mainly on Main Street, with concerts held at the Gazebo Stage, located at 325 S. Main Street.
The event will kick off on Friday evening with a lineup including Blue GrassFire at 6:00 PM, followed by Green Lincoln at 7:00 PM, and SALT CREEK at 8:00 PM. Saturday will feature a full day of entertainment, starting at 11:00 AM with The Grackles and continuing throughout the day with performances by acts such as Pocket Change, Garland Square Pickers, Copper Canyon, and the SWBC Youth Band. The day will culminate with acoustic sets by Brad Davis, including a solo performance and a trio performance at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, respectively, wrapping up the musical offerings.
In addition to the main concert stage, the festival includes designated areas for musicians to engage in jam sessions. These areas are located at the Train Depot Area, Gazebo Park Area, Liberty Park, and Weems Alley, encouraging spontaneous music-making among attendees. Jam sessions are scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, allowing for ample opportunities for both novice and seasoned musicians to participate.
For visitors planning to stay overnight, RV “dry” camping will be available at the Grapevine Convention Center, complete with security provided by the organizing club. The festival will also feature vendor booths for shopping and an Instrument Petting Zoo to introduce various musical instruments to participants of all ages. Grape Jam 2024 promises to be an engaging celebration of bluegrass music and community spirit in Grapevine.
