Halloween at the Heard is a notable family-friendly event held at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in Collin County. The event provides a safe environment for families to enjoy traditional Halloween activities, including trick-or-treating along the unique Dinosaurs Live! trail featuring life-size animatronic dinosaurs.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of enjoyable activities during the event. A highlight will be a screening of the family-friendly movie Encanto in the outdoor amphitheater, adding to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, families can take part in photo opportunities with a pumpkin display created by Next Level Pumpkins and view replica vehicles showcased by Texas Jurassic Motor Pool, among other attractions.
Due to its popularity, Halloween at the Heard sells out each year, and ticket availability is limited. Once tickets are sold out, there will be no additional tickets offered at the door. On the day of the event, the museum will close to the public earlier than usual at 3 p.m. to prepare for the festivities and will not reopen until the event starts at 6 p.m.
