    On July 3, from 7 to 10 p.m., the community is invited to celebrate Independence Day at Levy Event Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd., Irving, for a captivating evening featuring a fireworks and drone show over Lake Carolyn. This event promises to offer a spectacular night sky display that will dazzle attendees.

    The celebration continues on July 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Heritage District. The festivities kick off with Irving's Annual July 4 Parade starting at City Hall, moving through the Heritage District, followed by live music, a pie-eating contest, carnival games, and more family-friendly activities at Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St. It's a perfect opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the Independence Day spirit.
