    Texas Health is promoting a healthy lifestyle with its Train to Trot program, a complimentary ten-week 'couch to 5K' training initiative suitable for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. This program, leading up to the YMCA Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, offers personalized tracking, expert advice, curated playlists, and online community support to encourage participants to walk or run.

    The public is invited to attend a free kickoff event featuring engaging activities such as photos with the YMCA turkey mascot, discounts on Turkey Trot registration, and opportunities to win prizes. The events are set for September 7 at The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth and Galleria Dallas in Dallas, with the first 250 attendees receiving a complimentary Texas Health hat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the outdoor venue.
