2024 Trick or Treat Trail in McKinney
The 6th annual Trick or Treat Trail will take place at Towne Lake Park, offering a dynamic Halloween experience for families in McKinney. Participants can expect a festive evening filled with treats, themed decorations, and delightful surprises along a 1.2-mile journey. The event caters to individuals of all ages, making it a wonderful opportunity for families to come together in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
The schedule for the event includes various activities designed to enhance the Halloween spirit. Trick-or-treating on the trail will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., allowing participants ample time to gather candy and enjoy the decorated stations. Rides will also be available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., providing additional entertainment options for attendees.
A highlight of the evening is the End of the World Parade, featuring a New Orleans-style band that will march and perform around the south side of the lake from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This adds a unique and lively element to the festivities. The popular costume contest will take place in multiple categories, with registration opening at 4:30 p.m. Specific times are designated for pets, individuals, youth, and families, encouraging everyone to showcase their creativity through costumes.
