The 2024 Pumpkin Patch in Collin County is set to take place from September 20th through October 31st at 6601 County Road 166 in McKinney, Texas. Located north of Baylor Medical Center and accessible via Google or Apple Maps, visitors will find the pumpkin patch along the same road as Meyer's Park Event Center. To guide attendees, signs and giant pumpkin flags will be displayed at the entrance.
Admission to the pumpkin patch is priced at $5 per person, with free entry for children under two years old. The patch operates on a schedule that varies throughout the week. Mondays and Tuesdays are reserved for field trips, with the public closed on these days. From Wednesday to Thursday, the hours are from 11 AM to 4 PM, featuring limited activities without vendors, making it an ideal time for visitors seeking to avoid crowds. The main attractions during these days include mazes, a bounce house, and pumpkin picking. Regular operation returns on Fridays from 11 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM, with all activities available.
This marks the fifth year of the pumpkin patch, which continues to expand in offerings and attendance. Guests can look forward to a selection of over 7,000 pumpkins and more than 35 vendors on weekends showcasing handmade items such as soaps, candles, and artworks. Attractions include a two-acre corn maze, a pallet maze and obstacle course for younger visitors, tetherball, hayrides, and a petting zoo featuring goats. Guests can also enjoy snacks like kettle corn, hand-squeezed lemonade, fresh slushies, Texas BBQ, and various sweets while spending ample time at the patch.
The pumpkin patch also serves as a venue for special occasions, accommodating celebrations such as birthday parties, office gatherings, marriage proposals, gender reveals, and anniversaries. While weddings have not previously been held at the pumpkin patch, inquirers are encouraged to reach out for details on hosting one.
