The Family Campout experience offers an evening of exploration and fun after the museum closes. Attendees will engage in team-building activities, encounter Texas wildlife, enjoy s'mores, and become part of the Heard Museum's vibrant nightlife. This memorable night is designed for groups seeking adventure and a unique overnight experience, with a priority on creating lasting memories. Space is limited, encouraging interested parties to secure their tickets promptly.

Participants must supply their own camping gear, adhering to a suggested equipment list that includes essentials such as tents, sleeping bags, and personal items. The itinerary kicks off with a 6PM arrival and features guided hikes, camp setup, family games, and an optional night hike, concluding with lights out by 10PM. A simple breakfast is offered the next morning, while guests are free to bring their own dinners and snacks to enhance their camping experience.
