Heard Museum: Second Saturday Guided Bird Walks
Volunteers from the Prairie & Timbers Audubon Society (PTAS) host Second Saturday Bird Walks at the Heard Wildlife Sanctuary. These walks are designed to assist both beginning and intermediate bird enthusiasts in improving their bird spotting and identification skills. Throughout these excursions, participants traverse through diverse habitats including prairies, woodlands, and wetlands, offering rich learning opportunities. Experienced birders leading the walks also provide ample chances for attendees to ask questions, ensuring a supportive and educational experience.
