Holidays at Galleria Dallas 2024

Galleria Dallas hosts one of the largest holiday celebrations in the country, highlighted by a 95-foot-tall Christmas tree and a variety of festive attractions. The event features live entertainment, holiday skating shows, and a dedicated Santaland experience, making it a joyful destination during the season.

Santaland, a seasonal favorite, invites families to visit Santa's chalet from November 22 to December 24. Children can share their wish lists and capture memorable photos in a winter wonderland setting. Reservations can be made for this enchanting experience, which is conveniently located on Level 1 near Banana Republic.

Another attraction is SNOWDAY, an immersive photo experience positioned adjacent to Santaland. This engaging visual spectacle will be available from November 22 to January 5, making it an exciting spot for visitors of all ages, also located near Banana Republic.

The holiday season officially kicks off with the Grand Tree Lighting Celebration on November 29 and 30. This event features an impressive ice-skating show with a dramatic fireworks finale, showcasing Olympic skaters and Galleria's signature ice-skating Santa, known as Missile Toes.

Visitors can also look forward to the Grand Holiday Ice Show on December 8, a ticketed event benefiting Broadway Dallas. Additionally, the Illumination Celebration takes place from November 29 to December 24, featuring the lighting of the nation's tallest indoor Christmas tree, accompanied by a music and light show at various times throughout the day in the Center Court.

For animal lovers, Galleria Dallas teams up with Operation Kindness to host pet adoption events from November 29 to December 24. Prospective pet owners can meet adoptable dogs and cats on Wednesdays through Saturdays, and Sundays in the designated area near Banana Republic.

In addition, from December 2 to 20, over 60 local groups will perform holiday classics during designated times on Level 1 near Sephora. Families with special needs children are invited to a dedicated Santa visit on December 15, ensuring an inclusive experience.

For those who want to include their pets in holiday traditions, the Santa Paws event allows furry friends under 100 pounds to have photos taken with Santa, occurring on select Wednesdays between November 27 and December 18. Spanish-speaking families can also partake in a special language-focused Santaland experience available on Thursdays from December 5 to 19.

The Galleria Dallas also supports community initiatives, such as the Salvation Army Angel Tree, which invites guests to adopt angels until December 7. A drive-through gift drop-off will take place on December 6 and 7. To honor Hanukkah, a Menorah lighting ceremony will be held on December 29, featuring remarks from Temple Shalom, providing a space for communal celebration and reflection.
