    • Juneteenth 4K Freedom Walk & Festival

    The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is set to host the 2024 Juneteenth 4K Walk & Festival on June 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event will kick off with a 4K Freedom Walk, promoting health and wellness. Following the walk, attendees can enjoy a free community festival featuring live entertainment, a variety of vendors, and engaging activities suitable for the whole family.

    Participants interested in joining the walk, becoming a vendor, or volunteering are requested to register online. The day's schedule begins with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 9:00 a.m., and the walk starting at 9:30 a.m. This gathering aims to offer a day filled with community spirit, enjoyment, and reflection.
