Juneteenth Celebration at Tyre Park in Grand Prairie
The Juneteenth celebrations in Grand Prairie will commence with a Volleyball Classic on June 13 at the Dalworth Recreation Center, featuring a friendly game between local organizations, the Dalworth community, and the Juneteenth committee. The festivities will continue on June 14 with a vibrant Block Party at EpicCentral, offering attendees an evening filled with music, food, and entertainment, fostering a sense of community and celebration.
On June 15, the traditional Saturday celebration will take place, starting with a parade at 9 a.m. from City Hall, moving towards Tyre Park for a concluding cookout. This series of events, spread over three days, is designed to bring the community together in commemoration of Juneteenth, highlighting unity, culture, and heritage through enjoyable and meaningful activities.
