From October 11 to November 3, 2024, NorthPark Center, in collaboration with Community Partners of Dallas (CPD), will host the inaugural NorthPark Pumpkin Patch in CenterPark Garden. This event aims to provide North Texas families with delightful fall experiences designed by Harold Leidner Landscape Architects and the NorthPark landscape team. Attendees can expect various engaging activities, including photo opportunities, hot apple cider, storytimes with Bookmarks from the Dallas Public Library, and whimsical scavenger hunts that promote creativity among young visitors.
During the Pumpkin Patch event, all change collected from designated wishing wells at the Pumpkin Patch, Neiman Marcus Fountain, and Dillard's Fountain will be donated to CPD, contributing to the organization's charitable efforts. Additionally, CPD will hold its annual fundraiser, Change is Good, in the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 13, from 3 to 6 PM.
The Pumpkin Patch will be free for the public to enjoy. On select Saturdays, including October 12, 19, and 26, as well as November 2, special storytime sessions will take place at 11 AM. These sessions, tailored for children aged six and younger, will feature autumn and Halloween-themed stories and songs presented by Bookmarks staff, with book giveaways sponsored by Atmos Energy.
Moreover, an exciting event titled 'Creepy Critters in the Pumpkin Patch' is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, at 1 PM. This presentation will showcase snakes, lizards, bugs, and amphibians, providing an engaging opportunity for attendees to learn more about these creatures and their habitats.
