The Dallas Arboretum offers a picturesque summer experience with its vibrant gardens, educational activities, and family-friendly events. Highlights include the Swinging Summer Hammock Exhibit in the shady Pecan Grove, featuring 150 freestanding hammocks for relaxation, and the lush summer gardens boasting an array of tropical flora with over 70,000 new plantings. Visitors can engage in various classes at A Tasteful Place, covering topics from wine tasting to international cuisines and baking, enhancing their culinary skills with expert guidance.

Additionally, the Arboretum hosts Family Fun Fridays with activities such as the Country Critters Petting Zoo and Kindermusik sessions, alongside daily and repeating programs like member mornings for early garden access and historical tours of the DeGolyer House. The Botanical Couture exhibit merges fashion with floral design. Events are complemented by musical performances at Jeanne's Pavilion and the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn, offering entertainment amid the garden's natural beauty. The Cool Thursdays Concert Series rounds out the diverse offerings, ensuring a memorable summer experience for all visitors.
