2024 Enchanted Woodland Halloween / Fall Fest in Shawnee
Enchanted Woodland is set to be a vibrant community event at Woodland Park on Saturday, October 26th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. This celebration emphasizes family fun and community spirit, welcoming everyone to participate while reminding attendees to exercise caution as streets will remain open during the event.
A range of family activities, including bouncy houses and inflatables, will be available at no cost, encouraging families to enjoy the festivities together. Participants are invited to wear costumes, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The event will feature a pumpkin decorating contest at 1:00 PM, where attendees can showcase their creatively decorated pumpkins for voting.
At 2:00 PM, multiple costume contests will take place, with categories for younger children under age five, bigger kids ages six to 15, and a separate contest for pets. All pets must be leashed or appropriately contained. Additionally, the first 250 participants who arrive dressed as mummies will receive a special treat from the Visit Shawnee tent, adding an exciting incentive to join in the fun.
