On Saturday, April 6, Nichols Hills Plaza will host a 1-Mile Kids’ Fun Run and a 1-Mile WOOF Walk starting at 12 pm and 12:30 pm, respectively, with games and activities beginning at 11 am. Participants will enjoy Little Caesar’s Pizza post-run, and dog owners are reminded to adhere to specific guidelines for their pets. The following day, April 7, features the 5K & 10K Runs and a 2-Mile Walk & Stroller Derby starting at 2 pm, with runners and walkers encouraged to line up at 1:30 pm. Registration fees begin at $25 for children and $30 for adults, with prices set to increase over time.
Running strollers are permitted on the course, positioned at the rear at the start, while decorated strollers stand a chance to win a prize during Sunday's walk. Dogs, however, are not allowed on Sunday’s running course and owners will be asked to leave if accompanied by pets. The events cater to a variety of participants, including families, runners, and dog owners, ensuring a community-centric atmosphere at Nichols Hills Plaza.
