  • Edmond LibertyFest Parade

In Edmond, Oklahoma, the city's downtown area comes alive each July 4th with a parade that stretches over 1.5 miles and is considered the state's finest for the holiday. Spectators gather along the route to enjoy a vibrant display that includes bands, floats, marching groups, antique cars, clowns, and more, brought together by various organizations including round-up clubs and the Shriners. Adding a touch of historical charm, the 1889 Territorial Schoolhouse, situated at 124 East 2nd Street near the parade route, also opens its doors to visitors on this day, enhancing the celebratory experience.
