Family Tree Golf Tournament at Lake Hefner Golf Course
Oklahoma City's Parks Department is hosting its inaugural multigenerational 'Family Tree' golf tournament at Lake Hefner Golf Club on June 17, tailored for golfers of all ages and skill levels to celebrate Father's Day weekend. The event, emphasizing quality family time in a competitive setting, offers an opportunity for grandparents, parents, and children to engage in a scramble tournament, with trophies and prizes for the winners. Registration for teams of three or four is available until June 7 through the official website.
Designed to kick start the summer season, the tournament aims to establish a new family tradition on Father's Day weekend, according to Oklahoma City Parks Golf Trust Specialist Sean Simpson. With tee times starting at 8 a.m., the event not only fosters a spirit of competition among family members but also cultivates an environment for memorable experiences on the golf course.
