    Scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 9:00 AM, the Kids Marathon symbolizes a commitment to health and learning, inspired by the values of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and the Oklahoma Standard. This event, themed 'Run to Remember,' encourages children up to 12 years old to make a positive impact. Participants will receive an event shirt, race bib, commemorative bibs, a jump rope, and a medal, emphasizing the importance of participating over competition.

    Participants are expected to log 25 miles leading up to the event, culminating in a final 1.2-mile run or walk. This setup aims to foster a healthy lifestyle among youngsters while allowing ample time, recommended as 8-10 weeks, for proper training using the free curriculum provided. Children above 6th grade are directed towards the Memorial 5K or other suitable events, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere. Adult registration is required for parents wishing to join, underscoring a safety-first approach while fostering family participation.
