101 Archer serves as the arts and culture hub for The University of Tulsa, strategically located in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District. The four-story facility encompasses a range of university programs, including the Oklahoma Center for the Humanities, Mayfest, Switchyard, and the Arts Culture and Entertainment program from Kendall College of Arts & Sciences. Additionally, it hosts several Presidential Professors, contributing to a vibrant academic and cultural atmosphere.
The first floor of 101 Archer features galleries that showcase a variety of public programs and exhibitions, primarily organized by the Oklahoma Center for the Humanities. Also located on the first floor is Curations, the shop for the Gilcrease Museum. This retail space provides visitors with access to unique items related to the museum's collections and exhibitions. It is open during select hours throughout the week, aligning with the cultural initiatives in the area, including the First Friday Art Crawl, which takes place monthly.
