  • 2024 Centroamericanto Fest

    Centroamericanto Fest 2024 opens on September 7th at Zach Theater in Austin, Texas, featuring a free outdoor fair starting at 5 PM, followed by a concert at 7 PM. The event showcases notable Central American artists, including Alvaro Aguilar, historic leader of the influential Guatemalan band Alux Nahual, and virtuoso Salvadoran guitarist Jaime “Hulk” Varela. Additional performances will include Jeana and Juan Carlos Ureña from Costa Rica, the dance company “Amor por Panamá,” and festival host Mauricio Callejas with his band.

    The festival promises surprises and excellent music for attendees. Centroamericanto Fest has expanded to three dates, also featuring “Night of Central American Film” on September 17th and the concert “Costa Rica Canta” on September 28th.
