2024 Texas Youth Music Festival
The Texas Youth Music Festival will take place on October 12 from 1 to 4 p.m., showcasing talented high school and middle school musicians. In this lively event, attendees can expect to hear dynamic performances from garage bands and solo artists from across the state. Participants will compete for a grand prize of an Orb Recording session to record their own EP, with additional prizes available for second and third place winners.
The competition format allows each artist to perform for seven minutes or less, followed by immediate feedback from a panel of industry judges. The festival will conclude with a special extended performance by the winning artist, highlighting their achievements and talent.
This event, sponsored by the Austin School for the Performing Arts, the Bee Cave Arts Foundation, and the Musician's Woodshed, offers young musicians a platform to showcase their skills.
